Checking in and out
You can check in from 3pm at The Village Pub, however you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to have a drink or bite to eat.
Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please feel free to stay in the pub or on the terrace for food and drinks as long as you’d like.
The pub landlord, Luis, can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let him know your plans and he will try his best on the day.

Booking a tableBookings are highly advised for food, but you are always welcome to pop in for a drink anytime. You can book a table at The Village Pub online, or by calling 0345 225 9494.
You can order food to eat outside in the beer garden – these tables are not bookable and are on a first come, first serve basis.
Booking a roomYou can book a room at The Village Pub online. Unfortunately, we cannot take room reservations over the phone or walk ins to the pub.
Big table bookingsThe maximum number of people you can book a table for at The Village Pub is for 8. For larger parties or group events, do feel free to give us a call on 0345 225 9494.
Cancellation policyWe have a 72-hour cancellation policy on room bookings at The Village Pub. Should you need to cancel or amend your table reservation please contact us on 0345 225 9494 at least 24 hours prior to your booking.
Children and familiesThe whole family are welcome at The Village Pub. We have children’s menus, and some of our bedrooms can accommodate cots (free of charge). One bedroom also has a small sofa bed, suitable for those up to 16 years. Subject to availability, please contact us on 0345 225 9494 to chat through any questions or requirements you have.
Bringing dogsDogs are very welcome to join you at The Village Pub, inside the main pub and in the beer garden – however our bedrooms are dog-free areas.
BreakfastIf you’re staying with us, a traditional, full-cooked English breakfast is included in your room rate, and cereal, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice will also be available to help yourself to. Breakfast will be served in the pub, 7.30am – 10am and is only available for staying guests.
AllergensWe can accommodate for any allergies or dietary requirements – just let us know on booking. If you have any questions about the menu, please speak to our team at The Village Pub when you arrive.
Dress codeCome as you are to The Village Pub. We’re friendly, informal and relaxed, and we’ll never tell you what to wear. Feel free to arrive in whatever makes you happy and comfortable.
ParkingWe have a free car park at The Village Pub at the back of the building that you’re welcome to use if you’re eating or staying with us.
AccessibilityOur bedrooms are in the eaves above the pub and do not have a disabled access. Due to the nature of the historic building and its layout, access is limited around the pub – our car park has gravel and tracks, and the terrace is paved. If you have any questions or requirements, please contact us as early as possible ahead of your visit by calling 0345 225 9494 or by emailing us at info@thevillagepub.co.uk.

EV chargingWe do not have EV charging at The Village Pub.
Using THE PIGPlease note, THE PIG (just across the road from us at The Village Pub) is currently being refurbished and the building, gardens, facilities and car park is unsafe to visit. Accessing any area of the hotel is prohibited until THE PIG opens later this summer.
