Christmas in our country pub
Slow mornings with a proper cooked breakfast, wandering through warmly lit cobbled streets, and a full-bodied bottle in a cosy corner waiting for you at home… Christmas at The Village Pub is all about toasty, candlelit rooms humming with friendly locals, steam on the windows and settling into a big comfy bed above the eaves after last orders.
And, if you fancy doing the big day, there are just a few rooms left at the inn. Come inside, make yourself comfy and let us take care of the rest!

In our book, bringing the band back together around the table to share nostalgic stories and proper comforting pub food over cold festive nights is seriously worth looking forward to.
With the countdown fully underway, gather your favourite people at The Village Pub and relax with our festive set menu – homecooked, hearty dishes to enjoy with a cracking bottle (or two… or a few!)

Live Festive Music
‘Tis the season for good tunes, great company, and glasses that never seem to stay empty for long. This Christmas Eve, we’re welcoming a brass band to the terrace from 6pm-7pm - the perfect soundtrack for a mulled wine-filled evening before the big day!
Then, when New Year’s Eve rolls around, we’ll be seeing out 2025 the best way we know how... with live music from 9:45pm right through to 12:15am. Plenty of cheer, great food, and a glass or two raised as the clock strikes midnight.

Please note: on Christmas Day we are only open 11am - 5pm for Drinks and Pub Snacks.
