The Village Pub is located in the centre of the small and attractive Cotswold village of Barnsley on the B4425 (Cirencester to Bibury and Burford road), 4 miles north-east of Cirencester, only 90 minutes from West London, 60 minutes by train (Kemble) and one hour from the Midlands.
Across the road from the pub is Barnsley House, which was the home of Rosemary Verey, one of the most famous garden designers in the world. The house is now an exclusive contemporary country house hotel and under the same ownership as The Village Pub. Visit Barnsley House Web Site

Directions from London (80 miles)

Via the M40, exit at junction 8 (signposted Oxford & Cheltenham) and follow the A40 towards Cheltenham. 1 mile passed the Burford rounabout turn left onto the B4425 (signposted Bibury). After 11.5 miles you will enter the village of Barnsley.

Via the M4, exit at junction 15 (signposted Swindon & Cirencester) and follow the A419 towards Gloucester. Exit at the Cirencester junction and turn right onto the B4425 (signposted Bibury). After 2 miles you will enter the village of Barnsley.
